  • Use a password for Timma that you don't use anywhere else

If you use the same email and password combination for more than one website, app, or service and an unauthorized person gains access to one, they can then use that email and password to take over any other account that uses the same combination.

Your password should be:

  • Different than what you use for any other websites or apps

  • At least 7 characters long

  • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Not easily guessed - such as “password,” “12345678,” or use any personal information (name, birthday, address)

A password manager can make it easier to keep track of unique passwords.

You can update your password from your Profile page in Timma Pro, or you can send yourself a password reset email.

  • Verify your email address ✉️

By verifying your email address, you can be sure that you have entered the correct contact details to your account. It helps us know that we have the correct details to reach you in customer support and is beneficial for example in case you forget your password. Then you know that a password code will be sent to your correct account. On the Profile page you can easily verify your email address.

  • Enable Secure login 🛡️

Secure login is a way to secure your Timma Pro account and customer information by using strong authentication to log in (bank credentials, MitID, BankID, Mobile certificate). It provides better protection for your account and data than just a password. Read more on how to enable it here.

  • Sign out of all devices 📲💻

You are also able to log out all active sessions to ensure that you are the only one with access to your account. You can sign out of all devices from your Profile page. This is a good practice whenever you change your phone/ computer to a new one, misplace it or suspect that an unauthorized person has gained access to your account.

  • Keep your computer safe💻

Keep good care of your personal devices such as your computer, tablet and phone. Here are some extra tips on what you can do to increase security:

  • Enable 2 factor authentication of your email and other important services

  • Keep your personal devices protected by enabling password to open it

  • Use hard drive encryption if possible
