You can now sell series cards directly through Timma Pro! By selling the series card with a small discount, you can make sure that the customer is committed to your salon for a longer time.
A series card is a gift card for a specific service. It works in the same way as a gift card in the cash register.
Note!
You can only use a series card to pay for a service it has been purchased for.
Creating series cards
To create your first series card go to Services, then select a service you wish to specify a series card for, and select the "Add" for series card options.
This will allow you to add one, or more series card options for the particular service. You can choose from 1 to 10 visits.
After you have chosen how many visits the card is for set the price of a visit. Pictured below we have a service with a price of 100 kr, and we have set the series card price per visit to 80 kr. This means when a customer buys the series card they pay 800 kr, but their per visit price will be 80 kr resulting in a 20 % discount per visit.
Selling and paying with series cards
Selling a series card differs slightly from selling a gift card. Continuing with haircut as our example:
Search for the service in the cashier. Any potential series cards will show up in the list after the normal service.
The series is generated with a code like gift cards. The series card validity is the same as for gift cards (12 months as default). You can change the validity period in Revenues - Gift cards.
Payment with the series card works in the same way as a gift card, except it can only be used for a specific service. The price of the service will be set to value of one visit of the gift card irrespective of the service.
In the receipt payment with a series card will result in zero for that specific service, as VAT has already been applied when the series card was sold.
Tip!
You can sell a series card, and use a visit from it at the same time.

Reminder!
If you completely refund a series card also remove it from your Reports in Revenues - Gift cards - Series Cards
Currently changing the name of a service that has series cards will make those unusable. You can change the name of the service back to make usable again.
